How to Use CardSnap

Scanning a Business Card

1. Open CardSnap on your iPhone
2. Point your camera at the business card
3. Wait for automatic scanning - CardSnap will detect and process the card
4. Review the extracted information on the results screen
5. Edit any details if needed
6. Tap “Save to Contacts” to add to your iPhone

Permissions

CardSnap requires two permissions to function:

• Camera Access: To scan business cards
• Contacts Access: To save scanned information to your iPhone

Privacy & Security

Troubleshooting

Camera Not Working

• Make sure you’ve granted camera permission to CardSnap
• Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → CardSnap → Enable

Can’t Save Contacts

• Make sure you’ve granted contacts permission to CardSnap
• Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Contacts → CardSnap → Enable

Poor Scanning Results

• Ensure good lighting when scanning
• Hold the card flat and steady
• Make sure the entire card is visible in the camera view
• Clean text works better than handwritten text

App Crashes

• Restart CardSnap
• Restart your iPhone
• Make sure you have the latest version of CardSnap

CardSnap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or business card data to external servers. All data processing occurs locally on your device.
